Club Fest on the Arts Quad

Thank you to everyone who showed up to say “hi” or to challenge us today during Club Fest on the Arts Quad! Over 150 people signed up for our mailing list (we don’t spam, fyi)! It’s amazing to see so many chess enthusiasts within our community - we welcome players of all levels to come join us during our weekly meetings, Fridays 6-9pm in Phillips Hall 213 and 307.

Camden and I (Kimmy) played some intense blitz / bullet games with countless bystanders. I even attempted to play blindfold against a friend, but that didn’t go too well because he’s quite strong…I’ll keep working on my visualization skills too :)

Again, we had an overwhelmingly positive experience in just these short two hours, so we hope you had a lot of fun as well. Stay on that chess grind and don’t forget to play with your friends!
