Years playing chess: I started playing chess in elementary school and competed in numerous local tournaments in Taiwan before moving on to international FIDE competitions in middle school. In high school, I qualified for Taiwan’s national chess team and had the opportunity to represent my country in competitions around the world. Due to COVID, I stopped playing FIDE since but maintained an online blitz rating of 2300 to 2400. Since coming to America for college two years ago, I’m excited to start earning a USCF rating.
