Last Meeting of Spring 2024

All good things must come to an end :’) We held our last meeting of the semester on Friday, May 10, right after the historic Chess x Poker tourney - check out our previous article on that here! Some people came straight from that event - you guys are absolute TROOPERS. There are no words for me to describe how grateful I was to see people here, especially since it was the last official chess club meeting that I would be at.

Thanks to YOU, the Cornell Chess Club has become a safe haven for everyone who wants to practice, learn, and meet new friends! As we begin the transition to new leaders, I hope that chess club will continue to thrive and grow with the support of both new members and the OGs! I have no doubt that our members will continue to enjoy the tournaments we compete in and the events that we host on campus. Congratulations to the Class of 2024 - we wish you the best of luck in your next chapter! Don’t forget to swing by once in a while to grace us with your presence :)
